Pastel is a finish decision before it is a colour one. The matte face kills glare, which is why it turns up in front of cameras and under retail lighting more than anywhere else.
A matte face doesn't throw shop lighting back at the glass, so a pastel window looks the same from the pavement as it does in the brand's own photos. Window builds tend to use several full sheets, which is exactly where the discount is biggest.
Photographers like matte acrylic because it won't bounce a softbox straight back into the lens. A 4x8 sheet is big enough for a tabletop set or a standing backdrop, and nine colours cover most seasonal palettes.
At 3mm a sheet can be bonded to a wall, set into a frame or dropped into a cabinet door. It's fully opaque, so nothing behind it shows through, and the matte face hides fingerprints far better than gloss does.
Cast acrylic cuts cleanly on a CO2 laser, so screens, lattices and decorative panels come off the bed with crisp edges. Buy the sheets at the sale price and cut them yourself, or have us cut them and the material part of the price is discounted too.

A matte face shows handling marks in a way gloss doesn't. Keep the film on both sides through cutting and routing, and peel it at installation rather than before.
Cast acrylic at 3mm cuts cleanly on all three machines. Run a test piece first, because a matte surface can take heat marks at the edge on laser settings tuned for gloss.
Heat near a matte face changes the finish locally. Wet sand the edge to 400 grit and leave it satin, which matches the face instead of fighting it.
Pastel sheets don't pass light, so they're the wrong choice behind an LED. For a backlit panel the translucent white codes are what you want.

Yes. We can cut a small sample of any colour so you can check it under your own lighting first. It's worth doing with pastels, because they read slightly warmer under warm light and slightly cooler under daylight LEDs.
