Returns Policy

This Returns Policy applies to all orders placed through fidarsystem.com or directly with our sales team. Please read it carefully before placing your order.
1. Return Window
Eligible stock items (see Section 2) may be returned within 14 calendar days of the confirmed delivery date. Returns requested after this window will not be accepted.
2. Eligible Returns - Stock Materials
We accept returns on standard, uncut stock sheet materials under the following conditions:
- The item is in its original, unused condition with protective masking intact.
- The item has not been cut, drilled, bent, or otherwise altered.
- The return is initiated within 14 days of delivery.
- A return authorization number (RMA) has been issued by our team before the item is shipped back.
Items returned without prior authorization or that do not meet the above conditions will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender at their expense.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return under any circumstances (except as outlined in Section 4):
- Custom cut-to-size orders - fabricated to your specified dimensions.
- Materials that have been cut, processed, or modified after delivery.
- Items with protective masking removed or damaged.
- Orders returned without a valid RMA number.
- Clearance or end-of-line stock sold as-is.
4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders
If you receive materials that are damaged in transit, defective, or do not match your confirmed order specifications, please:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@fidarsystem.com or (416) 857-7555.
- Provide your order number and clear photographs showing the damage or discrepancy.
- Do not discard the original packaging - it may be required for a freight claim.
We will review your claim promptly and, where verified, arrange for a replacement shipment or issue a full refund at no cost to you. See our Refund Policy for processing timelines.
5. Return Shipping Costs
- Customer-initiated returns (remorse returns): Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a trackable freight service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit.
- Damaged, defective, or incorrect items: FIDAR System will arrange and cover the cost of return shipping or disposal, as applicable.
6. How to Initiate a Return
- Email info@fidarsystem.com with your order number, the items you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
- Our team will confirm eligibility and issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within 2 business days.
- Ship the item(s) securely to our facility at Unit 29, 601 Magnetic Drive, North York, ON M3J 3J2, clearly marking the RMA number on the outside of the packaging.
- Once received and inspected, we will process your refund within 5–10 business days.
7. Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled at no charge before they enter production or picking. Contact us as soon as possible at (416) 857-7555 or info@fidarsystem.com. We cannot guarantee cancellation once an order has been cut, picked, or handed to a carrier.
Custom-cut orders cannot be cancelled once production has commenced.
