Meli sliding door
Meli means honey. A single leaf sliding door with aluminium profiles cut at 45 or 90 degrees, or hidden.
Meli is Bencore's sliding door. Stiffness, lightness and translucency are its three claims: a refined aluminium frame carries a Bencore panel leaf, and because the panel is mostly air, a 3 metre door runs on an ordinary track. The profiles are cut at 45 or 90 degrees, or hidden in the Hide version, and the track can be wall mounted or built into the ceiling.
The catalogue shows a single leaf in a green satin panel on a wall track, and a four panel version with a bubble patterned panel, a 90 degree cut extruded aluminium frame in Bencore's Ardesia grey finish and a built in sliding rail.

Is Meli a pocket door or a surface slider?
The single leaf version in the catalogue runs on a wall mounted track outside the opening. The four panel version runs on a built in rail. For a door that slides into the wall, see the Fos internomuro.
What does Meli Hide mean?
The version where the aluminium profile is hidden, so the leaf reads as a frameless panel. The other two cuts are a 45 degree mitre and a 90 degree square corner.
How big can a Meli door be?
1000 mm wide at 3000 mm high. At 2700 mm the maximum width is 900 mm, and at 2100 mm it is 800 mm.
