What our laser does
1mm to 12mm acrylic
Cast and extruded, clear through mirror, cut on 48 by 96 inch stock with true-shape nesting so you only pay for the sheet your part uses.
Engraving on the same pass
Engraved text in 15 fonts, or upload a PNG or JPG logo. Priced by engraved area, and it happens in the same job as the cut.
Glossy edges, no polishing
Acrylic comes off the laser smooth and clear, so there is no polishing line to pay for. Flame polishing exists for saw and CNC work, priced per linear foot.
Your file, real size
SVG, DXF and PDF import as cut paths at real world scale, or start from one of 12 shape templates.

Never PVC
Lasering PVC releases chlorine gas, which is unsafe and wrecks equipment. The configurator routes PVC to the CNC automatically instead of letting you order it.
What laser cutting and engraving costs
Machine time plus your share of the sheet, and nothing else. Our nesting engine works out how many of your parts fit a 48 by 96 inch sheetand bills you that fraction. The jobs below are priced by the same engine the configurator runs, at today's rates and today's sheet prices, on the laser.

A one-off part usually lands on the $20 shop minimum, which is why the first column looks flat. Everything past that is real machine time, and the per-piece price falls fast as your parts nest tighter.

Engraving is priced by the area it burns, at $2.40 a minute, and it runs in the same job as the cut. A part comes off the bed cut to size and marked, with no second setup and no second invoice.

What we do not do
We are a plastic sheet supplier with a laser, not a gift engraver. Being clear up front saves everyone a phone call:
- Acrylic only. No wood, metal, glass, leather, stone or fabric
- No customer objects. We do not engrave tumblers, bottles, phones, jewellery or anything you send in
- Our own sheet. Every job is cut from stock we hold, which is what lets us price it online
- Engraving is laser only. Add it and the configurator drops the saw and CNC options, because neither machine can do it

Every grade below is in our own warehouse. The thickness column is what the laser will accept, which is not always everything we stock: cast clear runs to 30mm on the shelf, but past 12mm it goes to the CNC router instead.

How it works
- Pick material and shape. Acrylic in every stocked colour and gauge the laser takes, 12 parametric shape templates, or your own SVG, DXF or PDF.
- Dimension it. Inches, fractions like 3/16, or millimetres, against a live dimensioned shop drawing and a 3D preview.
- Add engraving. As many lines of text and logos as the piece needs, each positioned visually. The price updates as you place them.
- Order online. Server-verified pricing, free DXF and SVG production files, ready in 2 to 4 business days or 1 with rush.
Laser cutting in Toronto, from our own shop
The laser sits in our warehouse at Unit 29, 601 Magnetic Drive in North York, alongside the sheet stock it cuts. Nothing is brokered out, which is why a firm price appears the moment you finish designing rather than a day later. Pickup is free, Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5:00pm. We deliver within 30km on our own fleet and arrange freight to most of Canada on request.
Laser cutting and engraving FAQ
What can you laser cut?
Acrylic, in every grade we stock: cast and extruded, clear, black, white, coloured, pastel, frosted P95 and mirror, from 1mm to 12mm. Thicker acrylic goes to the CNC router instead, along with the PVC, polycarbonate and ACM panels we cut. PVC is never laser cut, because it releases chlorine gas.
Can I bring my own material to be laser cut?
No. We cut from our own stock, held in the North York warehouse, which is what lets us quote you a firm price online instead of inspecting a sheet first. Pick your material in the configurator and the sheet cost is already in the number you see.
What can you laser engrave?
Engraved text in any of our fonts, or a PNG or JPG logo engraved as artwork, on acrylic. Engraving runs in the same job as the cut, so a plaque, a wayfinding panel, a control panel legend or an award blank comes off the bed finished. We do not engrave wood, metal, glass, tumblers or customer-supplied objects.
How much does laser cutting and engraving cost?
You pay for the machine time your part actually takes plus your share of the sheet it comes out of. Cutting is $3.50 a minute, engraving $2.40 a minute, setup is $8, and the shop minimum on a laser job is $20. The worked examples on this page are produced by the same engine that prices the configurator.
How thick can you laser cut?
Up to 12mm acrylic. Past that the edge quality falls off and the cut starts to taper, so the configurator refuses the job rather than quoting it, and routes it to the CNC router, which takes our thickest acrylic.
Can I upload my own file?
Yes. SVG, DXF and PDF import as cut paths at real world size, and PNG or JPG artwork can be engraved. The configurator checks your design fits the sheet before it quotes, and every order ships with true scale DXF and SVG files of exactly what we cut.
What edge finish does laser cut acrylic have?
Smooth and glossy straight off the machine, with no secondary operation. That is the main reason to choose the laser over the router for visible edges. Saw cut and CNC routed acrylic can add flame polishing instead, priced per linear foot.
How fast is turnaround?
Standard jobs are ready to ship or pick up in 2 to 4 business days. Tick rush at checkout and your parts are ready in 1 business day, for 50% more. Pickup at our North York warehouse is free.
Do you do laser cutting in Toronto and the GTA?
Yes. The laser is in our own North York warehouse, so nothing is sent out to a third party. You can collect free of charge, we deliver within 30km of the warehouse on our own fleet, and we arrange freight to most of Canada on request.
