What custom cut acrylic and plexiglass actually costs
A cut part is priced from two things: the machine time your outline takes, and your share of the sheet it comes out of. Our nesting engine works out how many of your pieces fit a 48 by 96 inch sheet, and you are billed for that fraction rather than the whole sheet. Nothing else is added. The jobs below are priced by the same engine the configurator runs, at today's rates and today's sheet prices, always on whichever method comes out cheapest.

Quantity discounts come off the whole job automatically, on top of the tighter nesting a longer run already earns you:
- 10% off from 50 pieces of the same part
- 15% off from 500 pieces of the same part

Past that, or for a mixed cut list off several sheets, send it to us directly. Pickup at our North York warehouse is free, we deliver within 30km of the warehouse on our own fleet, and we arrange freight to most of Canada on request.

Materials available cut to size
Everything below is stocked in our own warehouse and cut in house, so a cut part is not a special order waiting on a supplier. The last column is what a full sheet costs if you would rather buy it whole and cut it yourself. A few thin gauges are catalogued on smaller 3×6 and 4×6 stock, but every part we cut is nested on the 48 by 96 inch bed.

How to order plexiglass cut to size in five steps
Pick your material
Choose from cast and extruded acrylic in clear, colours, mirror, frosted and pastels, PVC, polycarbonate or ACM composite panels, then select the colour and thickness you need.
Set your shape and size
Pick a template or upload your file, then type your dimensions in inches or millimetres. Fractions like 3/16 work too. The technical drawing updates live.
Compare cutting methods
The configurator prices saw cutting, laser cutting and CNC routing at the same time and preselects the cheapest option for your geometry and material.
Add operations and finishing
Drop in holes, cutouts, rounded corners, engraved text or a logo. Acrylic parts cut by saw or CNC can add flame polished edges. Laser cut acrylic comes out glossy on its own.

Which cutting method suits your part
You do not have to choose. The configurator prices all three and preselects the cheapest one your part is eligible for, and you can override it. This is what separates them, and why the cheapest method changes with the job.
Panel saw
Straight rectangular panels, the lowest cost per piece

Can I get plexiglass cut to size online?
Yes. Set your dimensions in the configurator above and you get a firm price on the spot, with no quote request and no waiting. Plexiglass, which is cast or extruded acrylic, is our most-cut material, and you can order a single piece or a few hundred at the same page.
What materials can I order cut to size?
We cut cast and extruded acrylic in clear, black, white, coloured, pastel, frosted P95 and mirror grades, PVC foam board in black and white, clear solid polycarbonate and ACM aluminum composite panels. Every part is cut from full 48 by 96 inch stock sheets held in our North York warehouse.
How much does custom cut acrylic cost?
You pay for the machine time your part actually takes plus your share of the sheet it comes out of, so the price scales with the part rather than with a fixed price list. The worked examples further up this page are produced by the same pricing engine the configurator uses, and shop minimums are $15 on saw cutting and $20 on laser and CNC work.
Is there a minimum order for cut to size?
There is no minimum piece count, so a single part is fine. There is a shop minimum per job: $15 for saw cutting, $20 for laser cutting and CNC routing. Quantity discounts start at 50 pieces of the same part.
Can I upload my own design file?
Yes. SVG, DXF and PDF files import as cut paths at their real world size, and the configurator checks that your design fits the sheet before quoting it. PNG and JPG artwork can be added as engraving.
What edge finish will my acrylic have?
Laser cut acrylic edges come off the machine smooth and glossy, with no extra work needed. If your part is saw cut or CNC routed, you can add flame polishing in the configurator for glass clear edges at $2.50 per linear foot.
Why is PVC never laser cut?
Cutting PVC with a laser releases chlorine gas, which is unsafe and damages equipment. Our configurator automatically routes PVC parts to CNC cutting instead, so you get clean results without any safety compromise.
What sizes can I order cut to size?
Anything from a small part up to a full 48 by 96 inch sheet. You can enter dimensions in inches, fractions or millimetres and the drawing updates as you type. Below about 3mm across, the configurator flags a shape as hard to cut so you can rethink it before ordering.
How fast will I get my cut to size order?
Standard orders are ready to ship or pick up in 2 to 4 business days. Tick rush at checkout and your part is ready in 1 business day, for 50% more. Pickup at our North York warehouse is free. Online checkout delivers to Ontario addresses within 200km of the warehouse, and we quote freight to most of Canada on request.
