Split desk divider

A Bencore panel on clamp brackets. Privacy at the desk, and a sound absorbing version for the open plan.

Clamp mounted desk screenMade in Carrara, ItalyQuote only

Split is a desk screen. A Bencore panel is held in clamp supports that grip the edge of the desk, so it separates workstations and creates an independent space with more privacy without any fixing into the furniture. It is made for open plan offices, coworking areas and reading rooms in libraries.

The sound absorbing version uses Lightben Acoustic, the 17 mm translucent panel with an absorption coefficient of 0.40, for the acoustic comfort of a fabric screen with the elegance and transparency of Bencore.

Questions

Split questions

Does Split damage the desk?

No. The panel sits in clamp supports that tighten onto the desk edge, so nothing is drilled and the screen can be moved to another desk.

How much does the acoustic Split absorb?

The panel is Lightben Acoustic, measured at a weighted absorption coefficient of 0.40 and NRC 0.45 at 17 mm. It takes the edge off speech between neighbouring desks while keeping the light.
