Bencore · Smart office partitions
Stretch cable partition
Panels on steel cables and polished clamps. No vertical profile, no horizontal profile, just the wall of light.
Stretch is the partition for people who do not want to see a frame. Bencore panels are held between steel cables tensioned from floor to ceiling, joined by small clamps, all supplied in a mirror polished finish, and the result is a wall that reads as panels floating in the room. It divides a smart office without a single vertical or horizontal profile.
Because there is no frame to cut and fit, Bencore describes it as extremely easy to install: the cables are tensioned, the clamps go on, the panels go in. The catalogue shows it in bubble patterned panels dividing an open plan office, the orange desks behind it blurred into colour.

Questions
Stretch questions
How is Stretch fixed?
Steel cables run from floor to ceiling under tension and the panels are held between them with polished clamps. There is no frame, so the fixings are the cable anchors at top and bottom.
Can Stretch use the acoustic panel?
Lightben Acoustic weighs 3.9 kg/m² and is designed to hang on light hardware, so it is a natural pairing for an office that wants to cut noise as well as sight lines. Confirm the panel size with us.
